After a while, once I relaxed, then the skippers relaxed and became more respectful of the other show going on. In the park you have to be respectful of the other performers because things are so close. With cast members it’s all about playing in the sandbox and getting along and how it makes you a stronger team member.

Just about every skipper did jokes about the guests waiting in line for Indiana Jones. However, the one incident that really brought management wrath down upon skippers was when a skipper did the “Monkey See, Monkey Do” joke to an African-American family, who immediately went to City Hall and threatened to sue the park.

My favorite joke, it wasn’t the best joke, but it always worked, before they blocked off the Indy queue was the “World’s Most Popular Bathroom.” You asked guests leaving Indy, “Sir, Sir, what did you think of it?” and this one time I did it and a guy yelled back, “I crapped my pants!” He didn’t know the set up for a joke.
